The dark atmosphere fills the campaign, giving it a sinister, cool feel. Used materials are striped velvet, wool, cashmere, shearling, lambskin, crocodile, leather, nylon, double-layered organza for jackets and shirts.

Female models for this campaign, Jessica Stam, Lily Donaldson and Caroline Trentini, look very nice together. The male models are Evandro Soldati , David Gandy and Noah Mills. The campaign pictures have been taken by Steven Klein

Some of the T-shirt of the Fall/Winter 2008-2009 collection are made exclusively for Dolce & Gabbana by Alessandro Pezzati, a young artist who attends Academy of Fine Arts in Milan and works using recovery material of daily use.

The rumors have been confirmed. Justin Timberlake is starring in the ad campaign of the new Givenchy fragrance named Play. There had been some rumors before, but they had not been confirmed. The pictures show Justin Timberlake in black-and-white, with ear plugs listening to (his own?) music in a jet, and calling on his cell phone in a recording studio and in open air.

Givenchy announced: “Beyond his huge celebrity, we have chosen Justin Timberlake because he is a world recognized trendsetter who redefines modern elegance.” Givenchy’s Play fragrance will appear later this fall.

Ladies, feast your eyes. Garrett Neff is the face and body(!) for Calvin Klein’s fall 2008 underwear line. Neff is only the tenth male model to represent the line, along with Mark Wahlberg, Freddy Ljunberg, Travis Fimmel and Antonio Sabato Jr. He is currently the face of the Calvin Klein MAN fragrance and also appeared as the model for the spring 2008 Calvin Klein Jeans collection along with Kate Bosworth.

The black and white pictures were taken by fashion photographer Bruce Weber, who shot the first Calvin Klein Underwear campaign 25 years ago. Founded in 1982, Calvin Klein Underwear is credited with being the first designer underwear brand. The brand has become known for featuring some of the most provocative men and women in attention-getting advertising campaigns and packaging. Ironically enough, the almost-nude photo was considered too racy for the campaign. But that doesn’t keep me from posting it here.

Paris Hilton the new business venture mogul posed for 944 magazine and answered questions about her new corporate career. In her usual “I´m pretending to be smart but I´m really dumn or is it I´m pretending to be dumn but I´m really smart” attitude, she discusses her upcoming projects..

The photos offered show her again pretending to be something that either she is or is not.. I don´t know, I´m getting a little over the whole Paris thing..

Fantastic, unique,  glamour in its purest form. This is my take of the Christian Lacroix  showing at the Paris Fashion Week. The images speak for themselves. It appears that for next season color will survive.

The Fall / Winter  2008/2009 Christian Lacroix collection is filled with very bright colors and great volumes. Silks and highly sensitive materials that contrast with the addition of black leather, starting with long boots. Pret a porter high-quality Fashion Week in Paris is everything I hoped for.

Not sure what to make out of this years Oscar fashions. I have been a fan of Oscar fashion for as far as I can remember..Always waiting with anticipation for the entrance of the Oscar beauties to appear and show the world their most awaited looks. This year, I must say I was a little disappointed..I saw a lot of black and feathers to go with it..Although, we all know black is supposed to be the color of elegance, this year I found it a little depressing.

Penelope Cruz , Jennifer Garner and Hilary Swank, all got the memo..Others like Kathernine Heigl and Anne Hathoway got the other memo..Over all, black, red and white seemed to stand out. A shout of bold colors as if to say “We are here, look at us”, I think the lack of Golden Globe glamour had all the ladies in waiting desperate to show off. We could also see this represented in the bold make-up which is past years has been kept to a minimum..

We all know that Lindsay Lohan has done some crazy things and is a young rebel but some are intentional and well thoughtout!! This is the case this month.

The picture above was taken earlier this month and shows a Lindsay Lohan in the nude. It was all for a good cause, a tribute to Marilyn Monroe for New York Magazine. The photographs were taken by photographer Bert Stern who also shot Marilyn´s 1962 Vogue famous last shoot. Lindsay, attempts to recreate images of an idol in her own way. I must say the pictures are beautiful..What do you think?

The magazine goes on sale Monday and I´m sure will get many buyers..

One of my favorite blogs has to be chicinparis, I follow it religiously and imagine what it would be like to be a chic in paris..for now I´m a chic of the world. Her post about the Paris Haute Couture week was awesome with some great pictures. I specially love the backstage pictures with all the glamorous people.

I think this is one of the most exiting weeks in fashion, Spring fashion is one of my favorites because of all the colors and the newness of a new year. The picture you see is Chanel show, which I´m sure you guessed..Awesome..

I think so far this is my favorite campaign for the Spring. It is so colorful, sensual, glamours, it has it all. Gemma Ward, Lily Donaldson, and Jessica Stam are gorgeous! I wish I could put on a dress like that and just walk around a bit.. Looking forward to seeing more ads like this one, since it seems every year ads are becoming works of art in a competition where there is no end to the fashion luxury.
